Precision Boring Company was established in 1937 and has the distinction of being the first company in the state of Michigan to specialize in boring mill work. Constantly evolving with our customers has kept us a preferred supplier to world class OEM's for over 60 years. Our current management team has led the company since 1991 and the average machining experience of our workforce is more than 15 years. In July 2003, Precision Boring expanded by purchasing large capacity OD/ID Grinders, more CNC machines, a CMM, and a 27,000 sq. ft. building in Clinton Township. In January 2005 the owners of Precision purchased Manor Industries, Inc. a leading supplier of replacement parts for presses in the metal forming industry. With the addition of Manor's large capacity turning and gear cutting equipment, Precision now has one of the finest and best equipped machine shops in the Midwest. We are known as being honest, dependable and innovative. We are a good place to work and a place that does good work.
